Automation break

Hi There

This morning an automation break command failed to launch.

The system was in Auto mode playing a long playlist.

I inserted an automation break instructing an mp3 file to play at 7am.

It failed to play and the playlist carried on playing.

My question Is… where in the play list should I have inserted the command. I put it at the very top of the playlist… Was this the reason it did nt play?

“Automation Break Point” is a special kind of Dummy items that turns of AUTO mode when it is reached.

So which Command should I have used to play an .MP3 then once played return to Automation please ?

Try :

If you want the file to played straight away: Events > Add > Add > File > Play File
If you want the file to be inserted in playlist and played after the current item: Events > Add > Add > File > Insert File
